My Walk in Coaching

Back in 2011, I was chosen to take part in the Life on Purpose program with Reuel Hunt and Judith Evans. At the time, I had no idea how much it would change me. I wasn’t looking for transformation—I was just trying to get through the day. Coming from a background of chaos and abuse, I had learned to survive, but I didn’t know how to live. At first, I was skeptical. But watching my mentor’s passion and dedication lit a fire in me. As I dug deeper into the work, I started reconnecting with my real self—the one that had been buried under years of struggle. I learned the power of vision, commitment, and taking control of my own story. Since that moment, I haven’t looked back. I’ve been coaching, being coached, and training others ever since. Every single person I work with inspires me. Helping people uncover who they really are, what they want, and how to get there—that’s what I was born to do.

I co-founded Coaching Beyond the Fences because I know what it’s like to fight for a second chance. Our group is dedicated to supporting individuals coming out of prison, along with their families, because reentry isn’t just about one person—it’s about rebuilding an entire life. Every week, I get to witness powerful connections, real breakthroughs, and people stepping into their strength. It’s an honor to be part of that.

In 2021, I took the next step in my journey by diving into The Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and working toward professional coaching certification. Becoming a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to coach at the highest level. In 2022, I became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and in 2024, I took it even further—completing the Co-Active Leadership Program and earning my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the ICF.

In 2023, my colleague and I launched Coaching Beyond LLC, expanding our impact and bringing transformational coaching to more people. And in 2024, I made another big move—literally. I relocated to Pennsylvania with our  partners  ReCA (Reentry Coaching Academy) to continue my work with individuals navigating the reentry process. This move is about growth, about reaching more people, and about making sure no one has to do this alone.

Beyond coaching, I’m just a person who loves life. Traveling, cooking for my friends and family, creating art with my daughter, getting lost in nature, and hanging out with my dog—these are the things that keep me grounded. I believe in celebrating people’s wins, big or small. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are and walking with them toward the life they deserve.
